  1. This Build requires little to no glue or tape, IS as safe as any acrylic piece, and is built with features found on high end glass. Voss bottles interlock so they require none.

This is my first post on grasscity but I've been lurking around these forums awhile..,

So This is my new piece, I named her Voletta.

    So Down to business.
    -Supply's needed-
    (3x) Voss bottles ($2.49 ea) 850mL
(2x) Pom Bottles - Extra just encase. ($149 ea) 236mL
(2x) Dobe tube /Plastic hollow tubing. ($2.00 ea @ my local head shop)
(1x) Travel sized shampoo bottle or the like.
($1.00 for a pack of five such bottles @ my local Dollar store)
    (1x) Dremel/Soldering Iron.
(1x) 12 pack of cheap bic pens. ($1.29 on sale)
(1x) Bottle of water resistant non toxic superglue. ($0.00 Free from my job :devious:)

    Okay!!

First step- Is to take one of your Voss bottles and cut it a third of the way down between the "V & O", Once done set the top part aside and focus on the base.

Step two- Take both the base of the voss bottle and the Pom bottle and cut a hole in sides of both so they match up, once done take one of your doobtubes and hollow it out on both sides and then cut it in half. Then place the tube inside both the holes in the bottles to make a connection between them.
Now set all that aside. we'll come back to it later..

Step Three- Take a top from one of the Voss bottles and drill 12 holes the size of your bic pens 3/4ths of the way around the top.

Step four- Take six pens and empty then cut them in half, make them uniform in size and length then insert them into the holes you just made in the lid.
If cut correctly they should fit snugly,

Step Five- Now glue the doobtube, Base of the Voss bottle, &Pom bottles together. Once they are dry slide the Voss/Pom base we just glued half way into the Voss Top with pens, Then Slide all that together with the Voss bottle you cut then set aside in step 1. Now you have a one chamber pillar perc water pipe

Step Six- Now to make the second chamber, Get the second doobtube, a second Voss top/lid & the plastic bottle of your choice,
(I used a travel sized shampoo bottle)
Cut a hole in the center the exact size of the doobtube. insert the hollowed out doobtube into the hole 1/4th of the way in, -So its mostly sticking up-

Step Seven- Take the travel bottle and cut small holes or slants around the top of it by the rim. Now turn it upside down apply some glue to the rim and slide it overtop the doobtube and press it to the Voss top/lid. is should dry quickly.

Step Eight- Now take another Voss bottle and make the same cut between the V-O and slide the top part over the perk you just created.

The ice chamber is basically one voss top with holes drilled around it and another top with the center drilled out set on top one another inside another voss bottle top piece.

Ohkay so I hope I didn't lose anyone. But just to be safe here's a diagram.

A few Things to mention here are' (Don't ever heat plastic or metal....)
Always use glass on glass when your dealing with the lighter area.

Also By not using glue on nearly anything this can easily be disassemble for cleaning or transport and breaks down to roughly the size of three water bottles in a bag and weighs nothing when empty.

If your constructing this and you don't have a Demel and use the soldering iron method I'd advise you to take everything you need to cut outside with a extension cord as you MUST do this in a well ventilated area as plastic fumes are toxic..

There is a small chance of leakage @ the seam by the V & O at the base of the Bong. a single piece of scotch tape will fix this and if you ever wish to disassemble simply unscrew it and the tape will come off on its on.

  5. Can we get a nice milk vid of it in good lighting? This looks like a fun little project.

  8. He already posted a vid... =\

I would like a little more detailed tutorial on the thing! a little confusing on how you connected the chambers together ( not the perc thats easy ) just the bottles you got so many top / bottom halfs threw me for a loop ... maybe was cause i had just smoked..

@TheHumanClone, If by "Chambers" you mean the second perc & ice chambers, They screw on. As all the silver middle parts are simply the top caps of the voss water bottles, Your simply sliding the modified clear plastic bottles over top the lids. They are exactly the same size. ...The issue with that is it takes a little muscle to slide them on there. (or a little nonstick cooking spray)

Once on there tho they should come off and on easily.

Sorry if that still makes little sense, I've been smoking aswell.
