You could just heat the aluminum before you use it, it's not like it's the actual bowl piece, its just a stem. If you ever put a lighter to aluminum foil u'll notice that it smokes and nasty chemicals come off it, but after its burnt it doesn't smoke anymore. I would just get a torch lighter and heat the aluminum up to burn off most of the bad shit.
Ok, here is the finished product: The only part of the aluminum straw the smoke will touch is the diffuser part, the rest has a glass tube coming from the bowl. I'll try it out tonight and report on how good or bad it is.
heres a trick for slurpees that always works. get one of the nice novelty cups fill it up. tell the guy working there your just getting a refill. and its only 99 cents
Heres what you do, cut the straw to the length of your average sized rolling paper. Fill one end with a small amount of clay and make it flush with the straw hole. Then just wrap your zig zag around the straw peice, lick it, stick it, and then turn it over on the part with clay(so the weed just doesn't fall through the straw) and fill it with your herb. Best free joint roller you will ever come across. Good luck.

I'm 20. I just cannot see anything past 40. It might be because I'm depressed, or because I've never really looked into the future hard enough. If any of you follow Kevin Smith and his work, you should be able to understand. He seems to think along the same lines as me, he dosen't know when his life will end, but he has the feeling that it will be sooner rather than later.
pmb6967 gave me neg rep for this thread, apparently I should spell better. Either way, as a temporary solution it's no problem, but in the long term I would go out an invest the 8$ necessary.
Life is what you make of it man. It is supposed to be enjoyed to it's fullest. Unless you have health problems or are really stupid, the odds are you'll live past 40. You might want to figure out how to cope with that. Good luck!
My 7-11 doesn't have those straws. I don't want them to smoke out of, but i hear drinking from those give you a mega brain freeze Dude don't even hassle with aluminum and metal, save up your spare dollars and invest in a nice clean glass spoon. Or just a average acrylic bong. Hell if you want just go all out and buy a fat glass bong.
If you guys were to actually do some research, you would know that smoking out of most alluminum is fine, especially if it's not making contact with a flame.
