Hey guys so I’m starting a super late grow and decided to pick up miracle gro organics to give it a try. I know a lot of people look poorly on miracle gro but I want to see how this works out. I’m also looking for input to improve my grow. Should I put my fox farm nutrients in? Any input is appreciated. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Not as poorly as the forth coming weather.. or the pitiful horticultral experience you have ...lol still ...a daily visit here will keep you in order ...lol good luck
Well.... you only said that you "picked up" some Miracle-Gro... not that you'd already used it. If you have some MG and some FF, choose one or the other. If you've already put in the MG, then the choice has already been made.
Miracle grow..... releases N for way to long. I’ve seen awesome grows with it tho. From what I was told u gotta be super careful to not over water and you’ll have to veg longer to get all the N out of soil b4 u go into flowering. My friend used ff soil and MG feed sticks and done well in his closet grow
Just want to give an update on how my seedling is doing outside Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
You can start a worm farm and collecting free manure to compost/vermicompost and then next year build your own soil from scratch. Will be a lot better off and actually organic. A base recipe is: 1 cu.ft. (7.5gals) Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss. (Hydrated) 1 cu.ft. (7.5gal) Earthworm Castings/Compost 8.5gals Horticulture Perilite 2 gals Bio-Char To this you can all kinds of soil amendments or feed with bottles if that’s your thing. I fully load my soil mix and then give them foliar feeds and top dresses. Once transplanted into flower, they get a top dress of Fish Bone Flour and it’s water only with a once a week Banana Fermented Fruit Juice. Pepper420’s Soil Mix 1 cu.ft. (7.5gals) Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss. (Hydrated) 1 cu.ft. Whatever you have, it’s very important to inoculate your plant’s roots as early as possible. “Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished” - Lao Tzu Prepper420’s No-Tillin Adventure!
Update: So I got my mycorrhizae and it suggested to put in a spoonful with the spoon provided to 1-2 gallons of water. I used a tenth of a spoonful to apply it to 500 mL of water. Before I transplanted I watered the soil that was in the pot already then transplanted to a pot smaller than a one gallon (I like to get torts established first before I transplant to my 5 gallon bag). I then transplanted from a pear pot to the new container then watered with the solution. Let’s see how this goes. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
