  1. When you're wearing a t-shirt with 'SODOM' written on it with huge letters and you keep on getting checked out by some gay guy, you can't blame him - yes happened to me haha

  10. Well guys, I finally get to see Mastodon and Opera. Two bands I’ve been dying to see since I got into metal.
Not only that, but today I get to see Defeated Sanity, Vitriol and Skeletal Remains

  12. I got to see these guys live in Seattle on March 22, drove in from eastern WA. I mainly came for Defeated Sanity and was not familiar with Vitriol, but was pleasantly surprised. It was def a kickass show.

Here's one that just came out. For you Slamming Brutal DM fans.

This one is an experimental Black Metal project from London. Some of most captivating/brilliant songwriting I've heard in a while.

Here's some slower paced dream-like atmospheric black metal

  14. Flying out to see this in Cali. Insane

  18. Missed this.

Are you so surpised? Come on now, I'm a Scandinavian! In these regimented, safe, controlled countries we need some expression of chaos. Metal is def the genre we've given most contribution to.

I like a lot of my own country's stuff. Fast-paced stuff that gives a sense of power, or the slower ballads that tell a badass story. Keep of Kalessin's Reptilian album, for example, which tells the tale of an oppressed people discovering ancient dragon magic and using it to overthrow their masters before spirralling into evil themselves.

Love that stuff. You? Whats good in Texas?
