Was at the smoke shop a while back and I remember the clerk saying that metal screens caused Alzheimers, among other things.. What do you guys think about this? I have been using glass honeycomb screens for a while now, but they get dirty so fast and clog up.. Just popped a metal screen in because I didn't have anything else, and it rips so much better, so much easier ... What do you guys think, was the clerk right?
Try not to use screens that have been in the faucet for years and use newer screens. I heard this rumor like 15 years ago when I started smoking but never noticed anything. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Aluminum vaporizes at a way higher temperature than a typical pocket lighter's flame. Fallacious logic for the most part. It is true that a small amount will still vaporize, but it is so small of an amount that it's negligible. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I have been using metal screens for years and I.......uh.....I......uh... ........damn what was I talking about just now? Oh yeah! Metal screens!! Well anyway, as I was saying, ......um.....wait a minute I have to take my meds for altimers.
Dont use aluminum if you want your memory to be longer than 5 seconds. Same for copper. Stainless steels the way to go bro Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
"Metal" is a vague term. There are many different varieties of metal. That being said, some metals are toxic while others are safe. Toxic: aluminum, brass, copper Even so, a couple times won't do harm to your body. Its such a miniscule amount, though its a problem when you start smoking out of bad metals everyday. Things build up, just don't be stupid. Be aware and youll be straight. Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Those are good examples, two others would be plutonium and uranium, shit even potassium Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum

I really like these stainless steel screens for my bongs, bubblers and pipes. Hundreds of times better than the paper thin crap from head shops in my area.
