You should use a pot/pan that you wont be cooking with, its near impossible to get it all off, or mayeb even most of it.
its actually easy, after youve turned off the stove and took the pot off let it cool for a few mins but before it hardens( while its still liquid) then pour it into a plastic party cup and put it in the freezer for about 30 mins. then you take it out and cut the cup off the newly solid peice of wax then you can save that till you need to make more. try using a non stick pan. then you can wash the pot with hot water and your good.
Well the thing is that for that cost you get a shitload of beeswax, and you could always buy more string for a few bucks and see how much you can get, it may be a pain in the ass but its probably a little cheaper.

Nice one, if your going to use that word dont be an idiot and misspell it. Kinda makes you look like the retard eh? And also if you actually READ everyones posts including the op,(probably a low chance you can read) then you would have seen that what he made was with 1/4 of the wax and barely any of the spool. He payed $22 for EVERYTHING, and now he is setup to make his own beeline for a long time. Not everyone is as lazy and dumb as you bud, some of us are actually smart with our money and like to save it. This is definitely a great post, gotta try it out sometime.
