~Medicated420's ~Guide to DIY "Beeline"~

Hey guys just wanted to show you all a way to have wonderfully fresh, healthy, and tasty hits without that disgusting Butane taste associated with lighters. Basically were making homemade "Beeline" and before I start I just want to say Im not trying to stear buisness away from the "Beeline" company because I like their product and have even bought a few packs my self, but for others there presents the problem that they don't have a local head shop that even carries it so this is for those people. So lets begin shall we?

1. First you will need to gather your supplies:
- 1 normal cooking pot
- 1 Roll of Hemp line (got mine from walmart!)
- 1 Bar/brick of beeswax (got mine from michaels craft store)
- 1 stove top
- 1 rather large Knife








2. Heat up your pot on medium temp.


3. Cut your hemp line to desired length( In my case it will be 10 strings of line all the same length)


4. Cut a decent sized little portion of your beeswax bar. It helps to heat up your knife first and then try to slice/stab your way through it. It will be a little difficult but in 2 or 3 tries it'll break off.


5. Now go ahead and throw your piece of wax into your pot and let it melt till its complete liquefied.

6. Now take a piece of hemp line and roll it up like a Lasso(sp), then submerse it into the melted wax for about 5 seconds. Then slowly pull the line out of the wax and hold it in the air for about 4 seconds or just enough for it to be dry then roll it back up and soak it again. Repeat this process for a minimum of 3 times but if you so choose you can soak it more but don't soak it too much. Your going to do this for every piece of line that you plan to make.




7. Once all your pieces have dried you can roll it up and smoke away! If you end up with any wax drips or runs on your line, thats ok. Just take your fingers and run it up and down the line scraping off the excess wax and your good.

Final Thoughts

You see you can be creative with it and pretty much do whatever you want with it. You can wrap it around your Lighters, bongs, etc. whatever floats your boat. Also I just wanted to mention the cost of this project was about $22.00. Yes thats a little much but look at how much you end up with. With just that one piece of wax I was able to yeild about 10 batches of line and had plenty of wax left over for the next round and not to mention I still have about 3/4s of that bar of wax to go and also plenty of that hemp line to go too. So for about the same price you would pay for 11 solo packs of "beeline" you can make 100+ of your own. The Hemp line cost $5.00 at Walmart, and the beeswax bar was $17.00 at Michaels Craft store. I hope this gets stickied so that everyone can see this and try it. Thanks for your time and hope you enjoyed my tutorial.

 

yea man its actually very easy to do and takes between 10-30 mins to make depending on how much your trying to make but its well worth it. Im about to load a bowl right now, shit tastes soo much better.

 

thanks man! I agree as well Id love to have a go at a glow rod but their so hard to come by? hopefully Ill get to try one out but untill then I got my diy beeline lol.

 

yea I would assume they probably just run a 200' long piece through a pool of wax or something and then when its dry they probably roll it up in that little spool?

 

what you do is you light the beeline with your lighter and you use the flame from the burning beeline to light your bowl. Its a cleaner and more pleasant tasting hit then with using just a regular lighter to light your bowl

 

it actually burns decently slow and the taste is AMAZING compared to lighters. big big improvement IMHO
