Master Kush & Black Widow 600/1000 watt hps (few hundred watts of leds)

*sigh* ah what a thing to be growing again...

 

That was my last grow, mega kush (balanced hybrid) yield: half pound dry. The plant got chopped at about 6 ft tall in a 3 gallon pot. Under a 600 watt hps 400 cfm ducting fan. I used general hydroponics flora series basic line. no diamond nectar flora nectar dry kool bloom etc. topped at third node and fourth node. first and second nodes allowed to grow as demi main colas, to see values of allowing lower nodes before topping to help balance plant in spread weight. Pulled potentially 8 weeks early(half of my bud weight tbh) to test psychoactive difference. tric content was 90% milky 7% clear immature 3% red orange. Pistil content 70% orange 30% white.

 

I supplemented side and underside lighting using CFL lights and I'd say I saw at least a 10% increase in bud size and weren't as airid as popcorn nugs usually are. with better lighting down there I'd say you could see maybe 30% increase...

6" cool tube for eye hortilux super hps bulbs 600 watt veg / 1000 watt flower.

 

I have an eye hortilux silver series ballast in the mail rn. ducting, cable hangers, and a look at the greenhouse soon.

 

Hoping to one day purchase the 700-es ascend led. until then I'll be borrowing leds.

 

I'll be germinating 2 of each strain within a week. <3 regular, hoping for a male from each at least of the 5 seeds I have of each.

 

So ultimately I can grow here or in the shed. both require some adjusting. greenhouse(11.5'l x 9.5'w x 8.5'h)
