Hi All, Quick review of a Christmas present. Grinder works pretty well but has a small capacity. The grind is more consistent than a hand grinder. Downside is no kief catches. Would recommend especially for people with hand problems. I got one for the holiday's myself mate, the V2-55, previously I had been using a hand grinder for small jobs or a coffee bean grinder when I need to do a lot (like grind a quarter to half ounce at a time for rolling joints). These mamba grinders kind of split the difference and generally it seems pretty decent to me as well. Its basically a 2- inch aluminum grinder with magnetic cap, that has a small handle and electric motor to power it. Can grind about half an 1/8 at a time max, it will chew small stems, but it will get bogged down and lock up if overloaded or too thick stems in there. So you just put it on a table or your rolling tray and load it up, then snap the magnetic cap on, and there is a forward / reverse switch to let it grind. After about 10 seconds of grinding, here is what it leaves you with I'd say about 85% of the bud makes it into the jar, the other 10-15% as you can see gets stuck up in the grinder, but it will usually push itself through if you load more, its pretty easy to clean (just pop the cap off, get the loose bud out with a brush or something, then just spray and wipe with 91% isopro. It just recharges with a usb-c cord, and seems to last for about 20-25 grinds before it needs like 30 min to recharge. Overall, its definitely easier (for me) than a hand grinder, but its not a viable solution if you need to grind more than like a quarter ounce at a time. The plus side is a coffee bean grinder gets a little violent with the spinning blades, and tends to knock a lot of kief off the bud to the bottom of the jar, as opposed to this thing which tends to break up the buds while keeping most of the kief on the buds. It does not have a catcher though, so make sure you grind into a jar or right into the bowl so that precious dust doesn't blow away. Altogether, I'm pretty satisfied with it, but I'll be curious to see how long it lasts and holds up to heavy use as I've only had mine for a week. Glad to see your experiences were pretty much in line with mine on the grinder!
Thanks for the more comprehensive review. I didn't have the time to be real thorough. Sent from my Pixel 8 Pro using Tapatalk
