  5. Thanks man

  6. Yes they were topped a couple times. I used Nebulas mainlining/manifolding method. Both Nebula and Nugbuckets have a method but the Nebula method involves one less topping to shave a little veg time off.

  7. Also for anyone curious, I ended up getting rid of the chrysanthemums because they were getting crowded out by the marigolds. Couldn't get the marigolds to bloom but after some reading realized they had too much good stuff in the soil. Flushed them hard for 3 waterings and now they are finally starting to bloom.

  8. Update - Day 49 Flower (last day of week 7)

So went to check on the ladies today and noticed that WR1 is having issues again. Best I can guess is Magnesium deficiency due to lockout. Hard to tell because some of it is her getting her colors like WR2 but there is burnt spots on the leaves and a very nasty fade to yellow, also a couple tips turned upwards and crispy.

    20191212_140819.jpg 20191212_140830.jpg

Anyway decided to treat this by flushing 4 gallons of plain water through her and then a final gallon with 1 tbsp molasses and 1 tsp epsom salt. Even though WR2 is not showing any similar symptoms I decided to give her the same thing but only 1 gallon of the plain water flush. Crazy how different these two Rhinos are, yet how similar they are looks wise.

  9. How high are your lights from tops?

  10. Lights are at about 10-11" and have no more room to go up.

  11. So a couple days have passed and the deficiency has progressed on WR1. At this point it has become blatantly clear to me that I am dealing with a phosphorous deficiency not magnesium/calcium. Makes me sad because I realize she has been deficient for a while now and flower is not the time to be deficient on phosphorous. Hope it doesnt completely ruin my yield off her.

Anyway my solution was to top dress another 1/2 cup of my dry ammendment mix in each WR and then water it in. I mixed a gallon of water with 1 tsp fish+kelp, 1 tsp organic start and 1 tbsp big bloom and used 1/2 gal on each WR. If this doesnt do the trick then I'm running out of ideas.

  12. Update - Day 55 Flower (day 6 of week 8)

Big update today, I'll start it off with my new purchase. Ordered two Marshydro TS600 lights for $160. These guys are a 225 piece Epistar SMD chip quantum board rated at 100w each wall draw. They are about 70% 3000k and 30% 5000k with a sprinkle of 660nm and 760nm as well. Will update with a full unboxing and initial review when they arrive.

As of right now the girls are still sitting under the two 600w (60×10w diode @135w wall draw) 3500k color temp lights. Not noticing much difference between these and the COBs other than heat. It is a very noticeable temp fluctuation these lights generate the least heat I've ever experienced from a grow light.

That being said my ladies were needing a gallon of water every 3 days and now it's more like every 5-6 days. I was going to water them today, but they still need to wait another day. Decided to take pics and update today anyway. Hoping the new lights will bring my temps back up a bit.

WR1 is looking kinda ugly from her bout with P deficiency but I think I've got the progression pretty well stopped at this point. She still seems to be doing her thing flowering without any issues. I do think she is probably going to end up going 12+ weeks.

WR2 is back to putting on some size/weight. The extra nutrients seemed to give her an explosion of new pistils. Buds are definitely getting heavy as the colas are starting to lean outwards from the center. She still has a ways to go though, I'm guessing 10weeks for her.

BC's are amazing little plants, crazy dense tops on them. I think they are actually looking closest to completion as of right now. I'm guessing these two will be my first ones down at 9 weeks.

  13. Sorry for the lack of updates lately but holidays have had me short on time. Was checking out the girls tonight and saw that the Banana Cakes had a nice amber glow going on and upon closer inspection they are ready for harvest.

Going to try my hardest to harvest them and get in a better update tomorrow. For the time being here's some pics of the BC's telling me they are ready.

  15. Update - Day 62 Flower (day 6 of week 9)

Got my new lights on Christmas eve, and I absolutely love them so far. They are ridiculously lightweight, probably around 1lb. The light output on them is absolutely insane. They are hands down brighter and more penetrating than my 600w (draw) COBs and only use 200w.

A lot of reviews said that the lights getting hot was an issue and to put a fan blowing directly over them. I have been running mine with the fan below the lights, just over my canopy. Lights do get warm to the touch but nothing uncomfortable. I can leave my hand sitting on the back of it.

  16. Update - Day 66 Flower (day 3 of week 10)

Girls were watered today with plain water. WR1 is still doing her thing but not looking anywhere near as good as WR2. WR2 is getting very cloudy with the first signs of ambers on sugar leaves, but none on buds. She is also still kicking out new pistils.

  17. Loving these Marshydro TS600 lights. Seriously impressed with these so far for the low price point. They are at 12" from tallest tops and I'm getting 0 signs of light burn. Heat is very low, nothing like what some reviews said. Lights are warm but comfortable to touch and only raise tent temps about 5-7 degrees F above the room temp.

Crazy excited to see these do the whole next round from seed to harvest.

  18. Alright guys so Banana Cake is curing away in its jar and is at the point of only needing burped once a day. Really has developed a nice fruity/sweet smell. We sampled a couple of the smallest popcorn nugs this morning and my god is she a smooth tasty smoke.

Total yield, weighed right now, was 31.2g, may still lose a tiny bit more over the cure process but very little. Super happy to have an oz off just these 2 little after thought girls.

The smoke is already super smooth. Taste fruity on the inhale and like light fuel/citrus/pine on the exhale. Effects come on fast for both of us as a strong head effect, which settles down over the next 10 minutes or so into a nice body high that's not overly couch lock or sleep inducing.

I am excited to see how she changes throughout the cure, but we both agree that we very much like the high already. Exceeds the dispensary quality hands down.

    Here's some pics

  19. Update - Day 70 Flower (last day of week 10)

Both ladies got a gallon of water today with 1 tsp of molasses. This will be the final watering for WR2, she has reached the harvest window. I'm going to let her use up this water and hopefully harvest Tues-Wed.

WR1 is showing some good bud growth again, but I dont think they will ever get as dense as WR2. Just going to be airy buds, unless she kicks on some serious size over the next week or so. As of now her trichs are looking about 70/30 cloudy/clear.

  20. Update - Day 75 Flower (harvest day for WR2)

Harvest time was finally here for WR2, took her down as soon as the lights came on this morning. Took us 8 hours to trim her up with two of us working on it. Will update on WR1 tomorrow.

    Enjoy

Final harvest is the full hanging rack (68 clips) plus the white tray full of loose buds and then the small pile of larf/popcorn.
