Normally I don't post about the crazy tubes, but that has to be the most incredible piece of art I have ever seen. JOP fucking killed it on that Ganesh. Literally jaw dropping. Very jealous indeed P.S. That bowl with the arm filters is called a disk diffused bowl. I have a standard clear one. They function incredibly well.
I didn't know what to call that crazy bowl/slide-thanks. it's crazy 10 tiny tubes surrounding a free floating marble WTF???? Luke really lay'd down the skills with this one.
im almost afraid to know what that set ya back.. i am seriously jealous right now.. looks just as good as the ninja tube i saw a few weeks ago on here *had a custom blown sword poker* nice pickup and be careful w/ that damned thing!
crazy ass all hell breaking loose. God. Id love a piece liek that. Id spend 2grand on a piece like that.
^It's more And thats an amazing sculpture, love that it can hold 2 seperate bowls, very very unique piece.
No, the bowl with two horns on it is the disc diffused slide. The 'main' slide on this piece is a new design, similar to the disc diffused ones, but not the same thing.
its a new design for a slide yes. but go and look at some of the older Sky Glass perc'd pieces. 3-4 arm tree's w/ a cork ball on top. its kinda like having a perc in your slide, as far as cleaning that particular slide, have fun.
I never even mentioned "sky glass" whoever the fuck they may be. I was merely correcting that posters terminology, as Luke's disc diffused slides are a different thing entirely from that 10 tubed slide around the marble. Pipe cleaners and Grunge Off can clean them both with ease too.
i was refering to the design. sky glass is a high end "soft glass" company that used to be a well known company. they dont produce many pieces these days and their quality has gone to shit, probably why you've never heard of them.... where you at in texas? if you're near the tyler area drop by Dragon's breath in tyler, they've got a few older skyglass pieces on display (owners personal pieces) they're deffinatly different.
Luke didn't really know what to call it eather. It's not disk but tube diffused it's a bowl that sits on top of ten tubes with the marble rolling around inside or in between the tubes, but yes both extra bowls are disc diffused.
Damn hot tube das. The attention to detail on that "Ganesh" is incredible. On a side note whats the name of that song? Im likin it alot. haha
