I prefer not having to open anything at all ever, but that does look interesting compared to threads..
Still nah.. The keif can go on the tray and end up in the joints instead of the fancy hipster screens, lol..

 

I’ve had a mendo mulcher before and i agree it is one of the better ones. It is Simple and the “blades” are thinner than most, but try a Phonecian and I would bet you’ll change your mind. Threaded multi chambered grinders blow, but the Phonecian interlocks and is a breeze to open and close. The best part is the grinder blades are actually sharp blades so the flower comes out a little coarser than most but not too coarse. I think it’s the perfect grind for rolling.

I have the older model of that and it is seriously heavy.. The bottom is about a half inch thick solid aluminum base under the bottom teeth..

Is yours seriously thick and heavy like mine?

 

I would say there are no hipsters here but I’ve heard the way to tell wether or not someone is a hipster is that a hipster will say they can’t stand hipsters

I think they are all like that, heavy as hell. Heavy enough that if you threw it at someone’s head hard enough, I’m pretty sure they would be dead.

Yeah, mine's really heavy. I never take it out of the house. I wanted to get one for my brother.

It was funny. He had never seen a grinder before. He came to visit me from Chicago and wondered why he had been using a scissors for 50 years. I was sad when I couldn't find it online for him.

 

Yeah like that, about the same weight as the perfect rock to whip at ... whatever..

I think it would win in a grinder throwing contest against any other grinder I have used..
So it is also the best at throwing contests, which is an important factor for a grinder, lol..

I don't need to convince any of you that my mulcher is the 'best' but it is what I prefer and I think they could use some recognition as you don't see them around much, so I'd like to mention them because I hope the small company does well.. They are pretty rare..

Not real expensive either but they are kinda unknown..

 

So you agree, it’s a useless feature and bad design? If you don’t use the threads how do you make sure the bud goes to the screened chamber and makes some Kief dust for later? Or do you just use the top half and grind into a tray...?

I also just remembered Phonecian a have a pretty good limited lifetime warranty on them. So if anything goes wrong and you didn’t abuse the hell out of your grinder then they’ll replace it.

Made of gun metal and i picked the regular non painted version so no worries of paint chipping.
Its lasted probobly 6 years so far, not sure if u can tell but theres dings all over the thing from freezing it then beating the shit out of it to get loads of keif. This things been smacked by the grinder lid, my wood nightstand, and had dimes rattling on the inside, dropped everything. Works amazing only been cleaned once. I use like head clipper brushes (wahl) to get keif out of screen.

Ive owned 3 grinders including this one, one just a plastic one no keif catch, it broke, a no name headshop one that the teeth paint started chipping, and now this one.

 

Well I got mine today and I gotta say this thing is AWESOME super good quality, magnetic lid is super strong too, blades cut like hot knife through butter.
And look the business. I would recommend this to anyone

That’s fine, most days I don’t need to spend money on bud. This grinder is lightyears ahead of the competition. Also, limited lifetime warranty so if ANYTHING goes wrong with it besides minor cosmetic defect or intentionally caused damage, they will replace the grinder with a new one.
I just hate grinders with threads, they suck IMHO. If you just used my grinder you would understand the qualitative difference.

I love my grinder because it works and it makes all the grinders posted so far look small ..
