I actually bought my grinder at a head shop. I don’t ever buy anything on amazon. Jeff Bezos is just another picture of what’s wrong with this world. Buy a Phonecian and then you can talk to me when you understand because right now you’re just being a little bitchy. Are you upset that you couldn’t even begin to think about affording a $300 book? If a book promises you can produce about 1350 grams per 1000watt light then as a cannabis grower you’d have to be dumb not to be interested about what lies inside those pages. You’re just a troll. Yes this is opinion, opinion based on experience, and facts. I’ve owned over 20 grinders in my life space case, Cali crushers, chromium crusher, they are all the same. and this is the only grinder I would specifically buy again. I will never buy a grinder that has threads, and I will never buy another grinder that doesn’t have razor sharp thin blades instead of bulky blocks with pointy edges that turn dried cannabis into powder and get stuck with cannabis that is a little over moist. I love my grinder, I’ve had a LOT of grinders. This grinder is unique, you don’t own one, you’ve never used one, I’ve owned grinders exactly like the one OP is waiting to arrive in the mail. They are cheap and shitty. He will probably be buying a new grinder in a few years after the threads rust and lock up or it gets a little warped from expanding and contracting from temperature changes and then it won’t interlock anymore. None of that shit happens with a Phonecian. It’s just a superior product. You’re raving about a Toyota Corolla and I’m in a Tesla. You’re wearing a Casio watch and this is Rolex, your drinking Bud light, this is a fine microbrewed Belgian IPA. No comparison Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
How does me recommending a grinder I like to others.............make me a troll? How do you know what I have and haven't used?
Not you, the kid with the god damned dragon ball Z avatar, he’s an asshole. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Not trying to get involved in this argument but that is not true whatsoever. A small paintbrush that has the bristles that don't stick to keif is the best at cleaning grinders. You can brush and clean your grinder from the top down, get every bit of keif out of every spot and can easily just brush it into a bowl. Guitar picks suck at picking up keif and you will scrape it and get it stuck to the bottom of your grinder. They also are difficult to get any small amount of keif. With a paintbrush you can get even the smallest amount out.
Seriously OP, return that thing and get a Phonecian, you won’t regret it. They are awesome. No threading which is the first part to fail on most grinders, instead it has an interlocking tab mechanism, a curved keif catch compartment that fits a guitar pick perfectly so you’ll never loose the little scraping tool the grinder comes with because guitar picks are a dime a dozen. And the part I like the best is that the grinder uses thin sharp blades to crush your herb up more coarsely rather than a fine powder. It is just an all around superior product. I’ll buy that, but you know how most of those grinders come with the tiny little ice scraper like tool to scrape the keif out? But the corners are always hard to get, but this grinder has a convex curved keif catcher. And it just fits the shape of a guitar pick perfectly. And I always loose the thing the grinders come with anyway. Also I feel like a lot of keif will get welled up into the bristles? Do you mean an artist brush or like a cheap hogs hair chip brush? Maybe a small artist brush with super stiff and soft synthetic bristles would be really good. But I would still prefer the curved keif compartment over the one with right angles Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Yeah I stopped using any of the scrapers or guitar pics that came with grinders a while ago! I have had the same grinder for 10 years and it looks brand new. It never gets gunked up and I always keep it clean with a brush! Yeah definitely a nice artist brush, the other cheap ones will just stick to your keif! The one I posted in the picture above does not stick to the keif whatsoever, it looks synthetic but it was the more expensive artist ones. They last me months so I don't mind spending the extra $5 lol
Idk why this devolved into a shouting match. I just used some very strong language because I feel very passionately about how superior of a product this grinder is. The thing is just awesome and one of my next planned cannabis related purchases is going to be the larger sized Phoenician grinder. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Im going to go to an artist store and get one of the nicer synthetic stiff bristled ones. Should hold its shape and last at least a few years. I’ve had a lot of grinders and even the nicer ones have gotten bent, the threads have rusted or just ended up getting stripped and no longer threading together or a couple times I even found pieces of the coating or cheap aluminum shavings in my flower which was the worst. I want a gas station and I like dragon Ball z Sent from my Alcatel_5008R using Grasscity Forum mobile app I don't know too much about guitar pics, suppose they could be handy
Lol I think most people that just happen by the thread won't even read the argument! At least I didn't tbh But I am interested in those grinders now, it has to be good if you're that passionate lmao I always have a preference towards small purple grinders and I have no clue why. These are the only two grinders I've ever owned and the only reason I got the newer one was because it's a little bigger!
because the first thing you said in this thread is "that grinder is shit! Mine is the best! I'm a little girl and if I have to use another grinder I get pissy and cry about it" .
Patty I too would love to win some gas stations, but I’m nut much of a dragon ball Z / anime guy. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Definitely try it out! I've done it for 10 years now and I'll never not use a paintbrush! You can even get all of the keif out of the threading on the grinders that do have it! I'm as passionate about the paintbrush method as you are about that grinder AHAHAH
I see some nice grinders in this thread but this is jut a matter of opinion.. My opinion is that ALL of your grinders are inferior to MY grinder because I DO NOT like multiple chambered grinders.. So HA!! All those chambers just SUCK when you are rolling joint after joint after joint.. Too much extra time and work dealing with all that crap for no good reason.. AND, the bottom side of my grinder HAS BOTH MALE PIECES on the bottom, so you can just absolutely stuff the bottom half FULL and never pinch weed around the rim or in the middle!!! Genious! See how you can just stuff the dual male bottom and it would not pinch upon closing.. This grinder is THICK and HEAVY bulletproof aluminum.. It easily weighs more than a 3" 3 stage spcecase.. I have been beating it together for YEARS and it's just more shiny.. It does not go 'ting ting ting" it goes "crack crack crack" and you would not want to get your finger in the middle of this blow.. You can throw this grinder at a wall and run it over with a truck and it would laugh it off.. All my life this is hands down the best grinder I have ever used.. Made in USA.. CNC machined from billet.. No anodizing.. Of course many of you will disagree with me because you like your 3 piece grinders, but I do not and find them too troublesome and waste too much of my time.. But that is OK because we all don't need to agree on everything, we all probably prefer different underwear and socks.. Sit down and roll 50 joints and tell me you want to screw with a 3 piece grinder... No.. It looks like this but mine is very very old, not available anymore, but the only difference I see is that the sides of mine are completely knurled, unlike that one with the middle of the side un knurled..
Fucking love this grinder. Just Wish I had something to grind in it at the moment. washed it out and made some qwiso hash out of desperation. The one complaint I have about my grinder is that sometimes if I don’t make sure it’s interlocked correctly it comes apart in my pocket. But I really dislike grinders with threading. Threading is for making sure something is super tight and not going anywhere. There are better fastener / engineering methods for something you’ll be opening and closing all the time Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
As soon as I saw the inside of that grinder, I had to scroll down to see the brand. You have my grinder! I love my Mendo Mulcher
