I just used this guide: http://forum.grasscity.com/diy-homemade/1069358-vase-bong-how-guide.html To make a bong out of a Jose Cuervo Tequila bottle!!! Came out so nice! The down stem was 20 bucks, plus another 15 for the glass drill bit and sanding bit. I think 35 dollars for a sick bong is great! Just gotta make a carb and I'm set! Enjoy the pictures, I need to get some herb to try the thing out, but I filled it with water and it pulls super nice. The reason for the teflon tape is that if it isn't there, the down stem is horizontal and not airtight. So I am using it to hold the thing in place. Does anybody know any material I can put around the grommet to seal it?
yo man what i use to seal the stem is wrap some black tape around the area where the stem is in the whole to make it fit tight!air tight...u feel where im comin from?...keep smokin..however everytime i make bottle bongs i leave a rubberband around the neck of the bottle and stem to keep it up right..looks neater than ur tape//hope it works
