I have a Roor tech that broke. I had it repaired by a different glass company. They repaired it but also made stains in the percs. I cleaned it out really good before shipping it to them. They took pics and showed me parts that supposedly weren't clean enough. They told me it was salt and when they heat it up it's gonna make stains but said the bong will still function normally. Wish they would have cleaned it out for me but apparently that's too much to ask and they won't do anything with it besides the fix. Well I got it back and these stains are small, some might say tiny but there are a bunch of them and it just bothers me because the piece was over $400. I tried cleaning it several times but nothing works. If it's organic like salt than it should come out even though it's "stained". Wish I could sell it or get rid of to someone who doesn't mind the stains. The percs are a real pain in the ass and it's very difficult to get the water out of them.
Yeah guy I cleaned it like 4 times. It was pretty difficult because it was broken but I did it. I even power rinsed under the tub faucet.
Some cleaners like 710 can dissolve salt , unfortunately I lost a bit of cleaner got spilled . Not sure what else dissolves salt .. sucks the repair place stained it, they really should had cleaned it .
The problem is it's baked on now I'm pretty sure. I've been soaking it Crystal Simple green for a few days now. I'm just gonna let it sit like that for a month and see what happens.
Roors are novelties, f their prices they're lame and they're percs are garbage! Always avoid tree percs! They break before anything else... just my 2 pennies!
yeah sadly brand names command high prices .. most roor are fakes , but real ones definitely cost a boatload!!! All brands trees? Someone gotta make quality ones . Honeycomb are tough tho . Could be worth it if there really that good , probably not worth 3x price or more USA made glass tho . Anyone who can afford it probably won’t care … roor Popular
Roor isn't really expensive far from novelty. They have a wide range of pieces from cheaper to extremely expensive. The percs on mine though are definitely a pain in the ass. A pain in the ass to fill and really difficult to even empty. I have a different one that has a different style tree perc and those are really easy to fill and empty. They have has less "arms" though.
In my opinion most disc percs are the way to i.e. honey comb and turbine percs! Their the most structurally sound percs as well as the results are undeniable.. all tree percs suck, they get to the point where they're almost impossible to clean, they break super easily and beyond looking really cool they don't percolate very well...
Yeah that's your opinion. Everyone has one. I disagree with that. They may not clean up well, but they do diffuse well. That Roor that I posted hits very well and extremely smooth.
It all depends on what kind of quality your looking for. If you are just looking for a bong to get high with, don't go with roor.
My mathematically challenged mind (read science and engineering), cannot compute how a $20 glass bong can be inferior to a $200 glass bong in regards to the quality of rips it produces. For example, I can't tell the difference from my 10" $30 glass bong, to my friends equally sized $120 glass bong. I love bongs, I love bongs, I love bongs, glass ones that is... I love bongs... glass ones that is
Sometimes your just paying for the brand name , maybe it’s worth it if you have a lot of disposable income.. not much better Then Amg though.. but maybe Germany made Could be better ?
yeah I had no idea it was clear aluminum, or even existed. Every brand needs one!! https://hackaday.com/2018/04/03/whats-the-deal-with-transparent-aluminum/
like Mercedes or BMW you buy german craftsmanship which is held to very high quality standards. how many other bong brands can you name that have won 11 high-times-cup awards? I think its also a piece of culture you buy when you buy a RooR bong. Is it necessary? no. Is it worth it? for some. PS check out the website and the configurator, there you can get a glimpse of the quality you get. I feel it only by the webdesign already. https://roor.de/en/product/3-2-icemaster-red/
