Hey everyone I’m trying figure out if this Bong I got is a legit Diamond Glass bong or if I got ripped off. I should mention I don’t have much experience with glass. I haven’t been able to find any other Diamond Glass bongs that are quite like this one. The craftsmanship seems decent, and even if it’s fake I’m not super pissed because it’s a present and I don’t think the person I got it for would care much but I’d just like to figure it out. My main suspicion is because of a smudge on the paint, it’s a minor imperfection but it seems telling. What do y’all think?
Where did you buy your Bong ? Where is the bong originally made ? Can you e mail the maker and have then authenticate Your bong from photos . If you bought your bong from china and its a named brand product being produces in another country besides China then Its 100% fake … China's has large Import taxes more then the USA or the UK . Any name brand product made in another country would be less money in the USA or the UK then what China business can import the product for ... Hope this gives everyone a little insight in buying name brand products .
I bought the Bong at a local shop, I figured it was legit at the time. I just haven’t been able to find anything that looks like it online, high or low end. Unfortunately the person at the shop didn’t offer much info
Person At the shop as in where the pipe was made or the head shop who sold you the pipe ? Once again the maker of the pipe should be able to tell you is it came out of their shop or not ..
It was a gift, how would you be "ripped off?". This isn't an expensive, reputable brand like Roor, not sure what the concern is.
It was just a head shop not a local blower, and I bought it as a present for someone else, it wasn’t given to me as a gift
According to my calculations it appears to in fact be a bong that does exist and therefore is real. Seriously though I looked up that company and don't see a high risk in people faking them. The real ones are priced pretty typically and the company isn't well known. It's a beautiful piece. Smoke a bowl out of that sexy thang and don't worry about it.
