I think it come down to idolizing. Does God care if you take a few tokes on a Friday or Saturday night, even though it does not glorify him, probably not. Are you smoking every day? if so you are idolizing weed and idolizing anything above God is a sin.
So because I worship my wife I am a sinner in the eyes of god and will burn in the fires of hell. Yeah he sounds like a nice dude to take moral standing from doesn't he.
I love the women in my life so much. I don't think I worship them but I do care for them exponentially.

Doing anything to excess is a sin eating drinking etc God created everything for our use...in moderation . Just my opinion
If there is a God or Goddess or both... That would mean, he, she or they are the ones who what created the plant and all things have a purpose to exist if this is the case...
If he's real I don't think he sees it as a sin. Weed is a teacher, even when you have a bad time you learn something about yourself. It makes people inquisitive, analytical and can humble you, I don't see that as a negative in any deities eyes.
