That is a sweet old skool piece! They were crazy expensive when they first came out. I just looked and they are still an 800 dollar piece. I doubt they still make it so finding one used is probably going to be your best bet. I personally would just buy him a new piece. It is always sad to find out a piece like that broke. Edit. I just looked at the pics and a glassblower would be able to easily replace that broken joint and it wouldn't cost much
