So I have a socket and a bottle. its one of those sockets with a big hole straight through the middle. I got a peice left over screen from when i fixed my screen door and its made out of some type of metal. I was thinking i could use this as a screen for my bowl. I thought i might just glue it down in there but im afraid the glue might let off some cancerous shit when i burn it. does anyone know about this? should i just put the screen in there loose?
what are you using as a stem? i pretty much have the same problem. see if the screen will burn. if not then tuck it into your stem under your socket bowl.
hey uh...to be honest, just get a water bottle (poland springs, etc)..make a little bowl at the top with tinfoil, poke some holes in the tinfoil..very small ones though, so the bud doesn't fall through. then take your lighter and make a small hole at the bottom of the water bong, like the side of the bottle, not actually underneath it. anyway, yeah that's the easiet homemade i can think of. other than the soda can one but that gives terrible hits.
I used to make tin foil pipes alot but its really bad for you and i dont want alzheimers when i get old and they give me a headache. but i think i'll just tuck the sreen under

Why would you want to smoke glue? Or metal that you don't know might or might not vaporize from a butane lighter? If your krazy-glued that, you would die. Go find a pebble, a small one that can act as a screen. Or make one out of tin foil. The pebble should stick in it while still letting air in, and the screen out of tin-foil should "clasp" and "grab" on to the inside of the socket, and the resin will help it stick over time. Just buy a downstem/bowl, there like 12$. Then homemade bongs atleast work well.
funny that I stumbled across this because I came on to look for more ways to make a pipe or bong. I also use a socket! I just took the cap off the water bottle made a hole big enough to fit the socket inside(its a small 3/16th socket with a skinny end) I sit that right on the bottle cap, at least half of the socket is sitting inside and half out. you can only smoke weed in buds though, if you try to grind it then it will just pull through. make a hole on the bottom of the water bottle so the water will drain out creating a "gravity" bong. fill the bottle(holding one finger over the hole on the bottom) put the cap on and light it up release your finger, letting the water drain. once the water has drained out, take the cap off and voila! you have a simple homemade gravity bong. lol any other ideas not using aluminum foil and glue?
