So i love making pipes when im high, and when im dry. my latest is this bamboo Steam Roller. I had some nice bamboo growing on the property and just had to try it. the bowl is made of oak and tapered so it jams into the hole in the bamboo nicely. (no need for posibly toxic glue) Dose anyone know if oak is good to smoke out of?
Wow thats awesome. Did you carve that bowl yourself? Im pretty sure noone has been hurt from inhaling burning oak.

Probably just as safe as a corn cob pipe. Same idea as using green wood when working with fire, with the oak bowl, the plant should burn fast enough to not heat the wood too much.
yeah i carved the bowl out of a stick of firewood that was laying around. and i don't know how easy bamboo is to get, I'd say find someone who has some growing and ask them if u can use a piece. they might sell it is stores but I've never looked.
A friend of mine said to smoke some bud, take all the res and mix it with honey and treat the bowl with it. idk...try it lol
