just wondering if any guys know how to make a perfect chilum.... some ppl laughed when i said you need to wash the weed after you crush it (taking out all the seeds and sticks)... but thats how its done.. i've been smoking in ashrams and mutts (religious as well as spiritual places) since a long time with babas and thats how a chilum is done... a handful of cleaned weed is washed with water many times over and this gets a brown liquid out of the weeed...once nicely washed all the water is squeezed out of the weed by placing it between the palm of both hands... after there is not much moisture left in the weed it is mixed with beedies (never use a cigarette tobacco for chilums) and then smoked... i have met up with ppl who are more than 85 years old who have been smoking since they were 10-15 yrs old and they have always smoked this way and to this day very healthy... just thought you guys should know.. any questions more than happy to go over them.....

But as "mr know it all" said, where I'm from it is also a type of pipe.
Why is it 'the lord' requires his followers to seriously fuck about to achieve the same end as someone who doesnt follow the lord. Packs weed in vape, turns on, gets high.... Also is the chilum not the device? just like a pipe or bong, i.e. how you pack it depends on what you belive is best, hence there is no 'proper' way to pack it, you pack it as you see fit? Edit: Why dont they just shake the hash off the plant and mix that with the tobacco rather than washing and drying the vegetation?
india mate... i'm just sharing what some of the sadhus (baba's) shared with me... i totally get what you all say and i totally apperciate your point of view but where i'm coming from is that here weed is worshipped... smoking weed is alomost as old as the myths and has been a very close part of our tradition and worship since ancient times.. nowadays every teenager is smoking up to get high talk shit, dirty, make fun and to have a good time basically but back were the days when people used to smoke to feel divine and feel close to the god... seriously mate you should smoke some of the buds we get here you'll be having second thoughts... trust me there is a lot to be discussed on this issue... i'm just uploading a random photo of the kind of weed we get here (the ones we getting right now are also killer but i dont have their photos)... and of course there are these insane places where people grow this - just spectacular... you should try india sometime....
My views on cannabis are similar to yours. Culturally its different. Religiously similar. I am an American. Btw that bud doesn't look half good. ...You should try Oregon sometime...
It's hard to get good cannabis in India. That's why they have some of the best hash in the world. I feel so spoiled living in Cali haha
^Probably better then yours, and mine, just because the buds doesn't look nice does it mean it isn't good, ever since the dutch started making bag-happy nuggets people haven't actually cared about the true importance of cannabis and it's potency, the genetics, that stuff right there looks like some landrace, which they have a ton of in india, as it's the home of the cannabis species, true genetics, doesn't look good, but will be a completely different high then you have ever had.
i know its not half good as well... this photo was taken somtime last year...let me see if i can get a few more snaps...but these buds have a very very extremly strong scent of mango to it... just the smell makes you want to smoke agreed its hard to get good cannabis in india but not impossible... where i live i feel blessed too!!!!

I'd honestly recommend that strain hunters expedition video to all the haters... it's like he said, it's probably mango as hell, and that's where cannabis CAME FROM. You haters remind me of people who listen to hardcore and metal but disrespect the punk roots.

And how can you be certain that absolutely any of the ganja consumed in the states differs from what they smoke in India? The drug trade is world wide, and Tons ends up here. Has been for years. You said it yourself 'That's where cannabis CAME From.' So where did we get ours from?
