How to clean a bong???

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by Duft, Jan 24, 2022.

  1. Bought my first bong, pretty simple 3 piece, the body of the bong, a glass tube that comes out, and the burner. The bong also has a ice catcher in the chimney that narrows the neck down really narrow and it's difficult to clean the inside of the glass from smoke/tar residue. Any ideas on how you would proceed?

  2. To clean your bong, first take out all removable pieces (like the mouthpiece and pipe). Pour 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol into the bong and add some coarse salt, such as Epsom or rock salt, as an abrasive. Shake your piece for about five minutes, then rinse with water and soap.

Sand? Instead of Salt , Unique I wouldn’t want to carry a bag .

  10. I guess the acidity of salt vs sands grit...it's a toss up? Lol
