  1. how to avoid getting water in my mouth from 12 inch straight tube?

getting a rip is fine but when i clear it i get a little water in my mouth ive tryd all different water levels but having very little water is no point in using it

why are 12 inch straight tubes even being sold am i doing something wrong

im using a difffused downstem also

  2. Try a slower controlled inhale when you clear it, and drop in a couple ice cubes to cool water/limit splash back.

I've got a similar piece, and often have people try to rip it too hard. One buddy of mine damn near drowned his self lol. He was used to hitting rigs with hella perks and other flow dampers.

  3. Ive got a 10-11inch bong, 10 without the base measured. A 6 slit difussed downstem. My water is only a cm maybe 1 1/2cm above the highest slit.

Change water level, and slower more controlled draws/clearing.

  4. Oh and tilt the bong back when taking a rip, it will raise the water level around downstem while clearing, but still not enough to hit ur mouth. Experiment with it lol, tilt to one side during a rip, to the other, kind of forward, anything ull find what it likes.

  5. i agree with the above i have a 12inch beaker and i don’t have this problem unless i really really try hard to get some water in my mouth. tilt it back so the water is more flat and pull it slower/a constant pace when you clear the bowl if you try and inhale too fast after clearing the bowl that’s the main problem i think

  7. Pull the downstem out when you clear.

  8. Stop sucking it like a dick.

  9. Some make the mistake of inhaling before the chamber is filled instead of drawing the smoke into the chamber with suction and inhaling when there is adequate smoke inside. Trying to inhale from a bong immediately at ignition is more "work" and if the water level is too high it's easy to end up sucking up a bit of water. In my experience, taking a few moments to pull smoke into the chamber before actually inhaling makes for better taste (depending on the bud) and larger, more comfortable rips, and you are less likely to get water in your mouth.
