I have a 7mm Gear bong that I want to have a showerhead diffuser made. I know how to measure them and my question is, how long are diffusers supposed to be in relation to the bong itself? As in, when inserted, where should the tip end up? The downstem that came with my bong basically is long enough to almost touch the glass on the other side but not yet. Maybe about 1cm away. Is this normal? Or should the holes/slits be closer to the center of the tube? thanks
The downstem should be as close to the end of the bong as possible without scraping or causing problems.
okay cool thanks. It's just that I've seen pictures of diffusers on high end glass ending about right in the middle of the tube. Why is that?
