Hi guys, I've been lurkin here for awhile but just decided to join the forum. Seems like a pretty cool place So anway, I'm a pretty novice smoker. I just started about 2 weeks ago and am diggin it haha. But I need some suggestions on home made pipes / bongs etc. So far I've been smoking out of a water bong I made using some long ass water bottle I found at school, an emptied out bic pen, and a socket. It's probably not as air tight as it could be but I'm fairly happy with it, except for the socket (bowl). The opening isn't big enough but at the same time it's actually too deep. It's like I pack as much in there but feel like I'm only getting smoke from the upper portion. Then when I try to get the weed out to reposition it I can't Is there a better household item (besides foil) to use as a bowl? Or maybe just a whole new bong / pipe you guys suggest throwing together? I've been lookin around for shit that might work but can't really find anything.
that is a terrible homemade bong. don't use it anymore. go to a gas station and invest $15 into a glass pipe.
Well I would rather stick with something home made. Not only do I not have the money to spend on that kind of stuff but my parents would shit a brick if they found a real bong or pipe
I understand xNecrophagist's problem. I think using any plastic is nasty as fuck. Foil is nasty too and it does burn from bics. Really try it; hold a bic lighter flame to a piece of foil for about 10 seconds and it melts and gets nasty. I use a socket for a bowl but I hate using pens as the stem. I don't know what else to use other than thin metal tube or if you are somehow lucky enough to find something glass thats good duh. Before you smoke out of it hold a lighter up to it and see if there is smoke or if you smell fumes you probably shouldn't use it and if it melts probably won't work well. I will tell you if I find a better homemade way to smoke.
Really? You like using a socket? What size are you using? What do you use for a filter? Also if you don't like using pens then what do you use for a stem? A lot of questions I know hah
I recommend picking up a glass bowl piece at a smoke shop, they are only a few dollars and it makes making homemades a lot easier and safer. Also if you really want to make a sick homemade i would also pick up a glue gun for like 4-6 dollars.
That's a good idea but I'm not thinking that far ahead haha. I've got some I want to smoke right now so I kind of just have to use the socket or something from around the house. Good suggestions otherwise lol
