Am I the only one that prefers hot water in a bong? People try wine,beer, ice and all kinds of stuff and look at me like I'm crazy when I say I like hot water. Here is my theory, the inside of my lungs are naturally very hot(98.6) and also very humid. Hot, humid smoke would be less of a shock to my lungs than colder humid smoke. I tried it and never looked back. A lot smoother hit, less coughing, doesn't change the taste or flavor. Altogether enjoyable.
Well there is the fact that for the water to stay hot you have to constantly refill with fresh hot water. And like most people I clean my bong once a month, when I take my monthly bath.

I've used hot water before... I find warm water is easier on the hit than hot water as there isn't like 100% humidity in the air going into your lungs from the bong hit. I find that the warm air created by the warm water will counteract the contraction of your throat when you hit to some extent...
