I made one out of a gatorade bottle and a real slide set up i picked up at the local head shop, cost was seriously like $15 and it hits amazingly smooth for a homemade. It got me so high i was scared (not kidding), you can read the story in the beginners section.

 

Plastic bottle + pen for down stem + socket for bowl. Some assembly required.

 

um... joint.

 

joints just aren't the same experience, although very concealable.

 

get a spice can, put a bowl throught the top with a stem extending into water, cut a hole in the side for either tubing or the shaft of a pen. homemade bubbler in 2 minutes. really small.
