I was given this by a good friend, I think it is pretty cool. It has 2 bowls,you can load both or load one and cover the other for a different kind of hit. Its a nice conversation piece.
If you really want to go into wood carving,you can go get a starters kit. It might take some time, but you can make some pretty high quality pipes. If you are planning on staining any pipe, I recommend heating it up with a heat gun, or a candle if that's not possible. Wood tends to soak in the stain better when it's under hot temperatures.
