I was thinking about making a wooden helix pipe on the lathe. I of course wont be able to see the smoke, its just the basic shape that I'm going for. It seems like a comfortable type of thing to smoke out of, and I believe it would look beautiful in a nice hardwood. I of course would be staining it with non toxic stains, or no stain at all. Also, I was going to inlay it with some nice burns, kind of like branding it. Just wondering if I should go through with this Idea? I mean, it would be really nice. Give me ideas on it or on another nice pipe I could make with wood. Ive got a 1 foot long piece that im planning to make it out of, and Id like to know before I go back to work on it. Thanks!

im confused on how you are going to make that on a lathe. Are you going to attach multiple pieces together?
Yeah, Im going to make it on the lathe, and attach multiple peices to get it to work. Kind of easy. Just gotta make sure that it is airtight.
Anyone else got any more ideas on it before i go to work on it tomorrow? I need to know tonight. Thanks.
