I've used the search function but it didn't really turn up much of what I was lookin for, I was wondering if anybody would be able to explain the basics of a homemade vaporizer or possibly redirect me to a discussion/thread that would be useful. I'll continue to search for what I'm looking for but any help would be appreciated.

there's also a recent guide on how to make one out of an e cig using tinctures. My one tip for you is never to use the lightbulb method bcause the lightbulbs are covered in silica which is poisonous.
Your right about the silica, however it's simply in a frosted coat which Is easily removed by a simple rinse cycle in the dishwasher. (i used to have thing for making incendiary devices using lightbulbs) An Ecigg huh? I'll check that out. I made one using a heat gun and some metal piping i cleaned. Imma try abd post some pics tomorrow. Everything is at a frirnds house.
