Correct me if im in the wrong thread for this,but i have a herbie 2.1,some extra hose and a large peanut jar. Its plastic and has a hard plastic lid. I was just lookong for ideas on how to construct this beastlybeauty,as i dont wana buy a bong (cheap and rather be creative). Jars about..2ft? Maybe 5-6 inches around (pretty wide,like a large beaker bottom) i dont have a picture of it atm. But yea,thinkin itll be pretty awesome,possibly bang some nails,or bamboo sticks for icecatcher?
I'm assuming you want to make a sort of bubbler...right? If so your best bet is to put 2 holes in the top and get something like a long copper to glue in there. The tube should be the right size so that the hose will fit snugly over it(clean the hose with iso alcohol and bring it to the hardware store (no glass on either end), Long enough to reach almost to the bottom, and sticking out a bit of the top so you can attach the hose. I would also get a bit more tubing and put that in the other hole, just so that you have something to draw through easily. You could get just about any kind of tubing so long as its non toxic. Heat shouldn't be an issue if its at the end of your vape's whip, so no need to worry about it heating up. If you want more diffusion you can put something like a pill bottle on the bottom (with the lid on) and poke some holes near the bottom, however many you want to get the diffusion you like...Also I would put one hole about 2-3mm in the center on the bottom of the diffuser to keep the drag down.

Excuse the stuff in the back But,i heated the bottle,pressed the pen tube in and it seems like a good seal. The pentube had about 5 holes in the bottom. The top of it has a piece from the vape taped on,to attach /detatch. Havent tried it yet,when i do ill be sure to report back
