Hey everyone! I'm being cheap, making myself a bong. I have a glass drill bit, and have everything set, want you're opinions. This is how I figured it would work. Theres a hole in the glass (tell me if its too far down) that I'll be sticking plastic tubing in, sort of like a hookah. The bowl is on top, in the lid of the glass jar. I made the bowl myself actually completely out of brass, I milled it out from a lathe I'd suck through the hose, light my bud, then suck all the smoke through when I'm finished. try the other way round and have the bowl be at where the hole you drilled is. So the bottom of that bowl/downstem thing is partially submerged in the water and you inhale from the top. If you put the tube where the hole is now you would be drinking bong water through your tube If you want the tube to come out from the side it can work but... the water level needs to be pretty low and your bowl's stem need to be somehow long enough to reach the base of the bottle where the water is. If the stem is not long enough you would pretty much just have a dry smoke hit instead of a water filtered one. EDIT: Just read you made that bowl from lathe yourself, nice job man
Thats what I originally had in mind, but I need more drill bits then to make the hole wider... Guess i'm running back out to the hardware store.. Can't pickup in a while anyways Thanks, took me about a solid 2 weeks to get this far with the bowl, it was such a fun project, Thinking about making it a dual purpose one hitter as well!
