Hey all, im currently in the process of making a permanent homemade steamroller. I have a bong glassy but im making this as little change wen me and mates start toking =] Made from pvc style piping, Hose, and Conepeice haha Very simple design, its about 2 foot long =] HERES PIC OF CONE PEICE HERES PEICE OF ROLLER 2FT LONG (24inch babay) Hahahah took a hit from it before, was pullin slow felt like nothing then let go of shotty(hand at other end) and fuckkk meee it hit harddd hahahha, 1 cone and i was buzzing =]]]
Can't wait to see this, i'll have to try to make one myself lol. Too broke to buy a new piece, only have enough for the ganja
I'm pretty sure using PVC is not recommended at all, you might wanna check into that for your own benefit
The V in PVC is for vinyl,Vinyl being heated is a bad thing. Vinyl fumes are toxic,and can kill a person easily. Im not trying to rain on your nice looking steamroller,But I would recommend a different material.I bought a simple acrylic bong at a gas station for 7 bucks,You put something over the carb you got one hell of a ride. Its kinda hard for me to say im not trying to rain on your parade, but please consider the fact that it only takes 5 ounces of burning PVC to release enough hydrogen chloride gas to kill the inhabitants of an average sized bedroom in ten minutes. Now, that may seem like its not such a big deal, but if you take into effect that PVC is combusted at temperatures as low as 160 degrees (F), so that little metal bowl is going to transfer lots of heat to the plastic around it, and considering bowls get pretty damned hot it will probably cause some issues, not to mention you might be really stoned and try to light a bowl only to find youve been burning a piece of the pipe, also my research concluded the above fact that 5 ounces of burning PVC vapors will kill the inhabitants of an aerage sized bedroom, well, the gasses arent being diluted with oxygen in the air like in a tube, you might as well load a bowl up with deadly carcinogens and inhale man, its been proven that a quarter of a lung full of PVC fumes are deadly. So while if your lucky it wont kill you, it will at least kill some brain cells . I would reccomend you find a more intert material, maybe bamboo, or maybe you could find a way to further seperate the bowl from the tube, like take a pen tube and put the bowl in one end and the other end of the tube in the pipe? That would work considering it would cool the smoke a little more and if you had a see through pen you could see the smoke which i always enjoy.
nice, man as far as the pvc goes, i would burn the part closest to your cone so it doesnt burn when you're smoking. once you burn it a little, it doesnt burn as easy the second time so you wont have to worry about the heat from your cone melting it and letting off nasty fumes (at least not as much)
