Homemade showerhead to perc

Discussion in 'DIY and Homemade' started by Got Homemade, Jul 31, 2011.

  1. here is the title bong (showerhead to perc) being put together with an exploited view.

    all the pieces
    [IMG]

first inserting showerhead into bottle and inserting stem, on the side assembling the perc

    more assembly

then push perc assembly into bottle, as well as tube into the cap

    then pack a bowl

    lastly enjoy

*tape on the stem is temporary...i broke it and wanted to smoke before i fix it.

  2. such a waste of time

also can't believe you buy drinks at full price, pour them out, then make crappy homemades with them.

    :confused_2:

  3. Unless you're doing this just for the fun of it, then these are a lot "cheaper", much more aesthetically pleasing, and bounds safer as far as health risks go (smoking with plastics involved is generally a no-no). I wouldn't call these crappy, though, at least as compared with other homemade bongs I've seen and in the sense of comparison.

  4. i cant believe you've wasted the time to come in here three times to respond, you expressed your opinion on the first page, i dont care to hear your sarcastic remarks furthermore... omg you smoke glass and think everybody else should because other pieces are inferior... thats a very catholic take on this subject, where as i take a scientific approach and look at the facts not a closed minded worldview... if you would just take away the material and look at the layout of the bong, a showerhead to an 8 arm, thats one of the better combos out there, better imho (from experiance not assumptions) than any straight tube Gong...

    so gtfo

and id like to see a better homemade if mines crappy? (taking in to regard design more than its made of glass, if you can there big guy on your horse...)

    Sincerly,

genreally a no-no? thats what GC bases its health knowledge on?

riddle me this, whats the differance between drinking a water after its been in a car in the sun to a 130 degrees (bottles are tested well past this to be safe for drinking, and you inhale air whilst drinking from a bottle) than putting smoke threw a bottle at 120-125 degrees or so....

and the melting point of PET is around 480 degrees fyi...

    facts> assumptions

and a bong designed by researchers at harvard for testing used... glass, brass, vinyl, and plastic... i think they might know about material properties than most... and they deemed it safe

  6. JB weld is great to huff!

  7. lol u mad. enjoy your delicious lung cancer

  8. wouldnt know, i use it on the outside of a tube.... great insight bud!

  9. i will knowing im smart enough to know it will be from smoking, not from smoking out of plastic... so now that your done... be gone

  10. hey bro. just have the safety of you and your friends at heart. :D

do you own any glass perchance?

  11. I would have repped the OP if he hadn't been such a prick to the people who responded
and 50$ for a plastic bong?
sorry, i wouldn't pay that for *any* plastic bong.

Even though i have a glass bong...these are interesting.
the bubble stacking intrigues me, you did a good job.

  12. I wouldn't drink out of bottle after it's been heated in a car like that, either. Anyway, unless you're also testing your bongs to industry standards for health risks, then you really have no room to talk, especially considering you're using more than just water bottles and your application of heat is nothing like a bottle being heated up gradually in a car. Like you said, facts>assumptions; stop making them... You're applying a flame and a flame ≠ sunlight. It's common knowledge, and quite frankly common sense considering the noxious smells, that plastic is extremely toxic when heated, so you're just making yourself sound bad by asking for scientific evidence to back such a claim. People especially don't want a bong made out of plastic by someone who doesn't even have any common sense, not to mention that they definitely aren't going to pay for it after they hear the price when there's a professionally made glass bong out there for much cheaper. Also it's pretty low to insult all of GC when you're a user here too. :gc_rocks:

  13. You believe marijuana causes cancer without any valid, conclusive, scientific evidence to support such a claim being ever produced and yet criticise the foundation of my health knowledge? Typical ignorance.

  14. my one beef with this statement is that you really aren't going to find a spectacular bong for >50 unless you've got a dank glassblower in town that you're friends with ;)
it's good to know people in high places :smoke:

EDIT: I agree with the whole rest of what you're saying though haha

  15. mods... you can delete this thread... gc cant look past itself. im done.

  16. They're all over this very website that you're on. lol Did you miss my link? Those are definitely spectacular for just over $25. :confused_2:

  17. Actually, you can delete this thread if you can't handle the constructive criticism. No mod is going to do it for you.

  18. when did i say smoking pot.... i smoke pot, cigs, hooka,.... it will be my demise maybe but not plastic....

    typical assuption

  19. Eh, I'd like to see an acrylic stemline.
i might buy that, it sounds easy enough to make?
    miss my old stemline
(technically, it was co-owned, but it's in another state now due to my friend moving, I let him take the bong with him as a gift)

  20. This is a website based on marijuana culture. I simply used common sense to assume you weren't on a weed forum to talk about a bong you made for your cancer in a bag. It's your error for not specifying.
