Homemade Sharktooth Grinder

    Ringe aus Buche: Flache Buche-Scheiben 60x15mm gebohrt 30mm

    Im going to buy one of those and use a circular saw drillbit. I'll do any measurement ajustments iif needed... Then i can smooth it down and glue to a wooden round block which i'm going to just use a hacksaw on a wooden block and some sandpaper...

    I dont even know if that makes sense

    This reminds me of my days with auto CAD. Keep us updated man, I hope it turns out well. It'd be the coolest grinder ever.

    good luck holding those rings down when you're tring to drill/cut the center

    Thats a good point. I was thinking about the best way to do it... If i could find the rings at the right size it would make it so much easier...

    Be sure those teeth are secured really deep in to the grinder. I've ground up some crazy dense and resinous bud and manged to break a tooth off of a Sharpstone grinder.

    depending on your shop set up you vould make them pretty easily

    Just thinking... I can buy flat circles for the base at 76 x 3mm. I could take 3 of those rings, pierce 2 of the rings with the shark teeth so they stick out and are flat on the bottom and glue the third one to the bottom. They would be rooted in well...

    I'm not tryin to hate, I'm all for DIY, but for this to work, not fall apart, and not keep half your bud stuck inside...I'd buy one and glue a shark tooth to the outside, then it'll be "special"

    Thinkin...I do have a cnc mill :)

    overcoming the challenge is what makes it "special" to me
    there is nothing more satisfying than getting blazed of the pieces i make. anybody can go buy something and then modify it slightly, but starting from scratch is completely different. its got s deeper meanign than just a $

    Its worth noting that i have little acces to any machine/power tools. I have a jigsaw, drill, power sander and not much else... however i do have a lot of hand tools.

    Anyways i'm going to call it a day and see what i can achieve with my circular saw drill attachments and power sander. I have a few blocks of wood lying around. All i need is a ring that fits inside another ring (15mm deep) and 2 bases i can stick them too... i'll see what happens and update tommorow!:smoke:

    Good luck indeed. It sounds like you know what you're doin, so things should work out well as long as the right circumstances are met...

    Imagine how cool the finished product could be. Bust that shit out anywhere and people would freak.
