Hey guys and gals, This is my first try at a homemade perc, got a bit creative and added a second, smaller 6 arm tree perc inside the larger 8 arm tree perc. Also added a glass A/C, used silicone grommet/seals for for the stem. Used a 1 liter ice tea bottle and a old dvd as the base to keep it nice and balanced. Tilted the whole thing back about 15 degrees to enhance the ergonomics aswell ( made allowances with the perc length / water levels too, if that makes sense) hits are super smooth, minimal drag (considering chamber size)
I added a bowl to my wooden 1 hitter, thought i would share. Hits about the same, maybe a little less smooth, but now the piece will last me alot longer without burning.
I know everyone likes size.. but I've build these before (a while ago now) and even when you have it completely air tight which is hard in a homemade anyway.. it takes ages to fill something like this, and by the time you're smoking it's stale and tastes horrid. Great for show, but give me a little glass bong over a huge thing any day .
