Here is a pipe I made a week ago. The mouth piece was a measurement device for baby medicine cut in half (my nephew is now 7 and no longer needs it, so don't think I took it from a baby), I took a wooden stick I had from a crafts store and cut off the rounded end, drilled a hole through the center, a larger hole in top for the bowl (which was actually a bowl cover turned upside down), tapped the bowl into place with a hammer, sealed the mouth piece to the wood with a hot glue gun, sealed around the bowl with a hot glue gun as well, cut a screen and pushed down in the bowl because I forgot to put it in first (fit perfectly), and drilled a breather hole in the side.
I forgot to mention I painted over the finished product with green acrylic paint (except the mouthpiece) to give it a nice look
