how did you get the hole drilled thru the mouth peice. seams really small in dia.

 

Dude, that thing is fantastic. It is nice to see someone make a homemade pipe that isn't some kind of foil and plastic pen abomination. Seriously good fucking job, I think it looks really good.

Its natural and not plastic or packed full wierd chemicals from foreign paints and metal (no offense to people who are using those types)

Even if it does get older, wood is alot harder to burn than most people think. Even if you buy a piece of wood that is meant for burning (Mesquite, Hickory, etc...) and hold a lighter to it, it is not going to suddenly combust or incinerate. All types of wood require a constant large flame to burn consistantly. And even if the bowl becomes charred it acts like a slight fire retardent. Charred wood is basically just large hard peices of ash, since charred wood is composed of thick hard ash there is nothing remaining to burn, thus it would take a larger amount of fire or heat in an area that has not been previously burnt to burn the pipe.

i give it a 9/10 because no one else i saw used naturals and it has a real pipe screen
