First pipe i made, gift for a homie Then One for my GF Then One for myself
Running stealth-mode and strapped for cash, i used water bottle bongs that ended up leaking... So I made a more permenant one, today is Aqua-man's birthday. Made out of: Fish tank draining tool (body) Mechanical pencil (downstem/slider) Ductape to seal it, and an old Metal pipe's bowl.
Two chambered bong with socket/pen tube as down stem and plastic tubing to connect them. carb on the small bottle
Details on this piece can be found in this thread. http://forum.grasscity.com/toking-tools/805074-depth-homemade-bong-thread.html Nowadays I can't stand the plastic/metal combinations though... See my new piece here: My New OG Toro Tube, just thought I'd share - Grasscity.com Forums

This is my bong with an ash catcher. abit hard to milk but runs smooth as hell. I say it now and I will always say it; home made smoking devices are the art of stoned people, and they're beautiful no matter how they hit or what materiel they are from.
It's easy, all you need is a vice, a drill, a big and small bit, files, sandpaper, and stain and poly coat if you want. That's all I used. A coping saw is great too, if you have one, if you don't you should buy one. Just use a half inch bit for the bowl, and a smaller bit for the shank face. This bowl was made out of branch of maple, which is decent wood for a pipe. Basically get a hardwood that's resistant to heat. If you can, get briar. The stem is made out of a section of aluminum arrow shaft, and an arrow insert I heated and hammered so it works as a tenon. The only thing on it I didn't make is the mouthpiece, which came off a old broken corn cob pipe I had laying around. I stained it and threw on a couple coats of poly for looks. If you have anymore questions about it feel free to ask, i'll do my best to help. [/IMG]
this is the pipe i have been working on. i haven't had time to put the brass in the bowl part and stain the wood. the wood is white oak and it was hand carved.
