I'm looking for non toxic, non aluminum ideas that are all metal. I would love some pictures if possible. And if you guys have any homemade bong bowls, that would be pretty cool if you could post some pictures.
brass its pretty soft, you can put a carb on it, or even better yet get a tripple connector and turn it in to a steam roller. heres a picture of my brass pipe with a carb on it, i just used a carbide drill bit because i work ina machine shop, but you can easily use a basic one.
You could easily poison yourself with zinc oxide fumes using metals such as brass. In all honesty, the health risks involved with smoking out of metals of any kind doesn't seem worth saving $5-$10. Grade 2 TI is expensive too, so it's not like you could easily build it out of that. The other option you have is making the bowl out of TI and the rest of the pipe out of brass, as long as the brass isn't being put in contact with direct flame. I also know that you could buy a cheap glass bowl for a 14.4mm glass on glass piece and probably somehow retrofit it to work with the metal pipe. Just think about your lungs, and do a little research on heating metals and the toxins released from them. It's not something that you get overnight, but it also doesn't just go away either.
