Homemade Inverse Showerhead to Disc Perc

  1. Why would you suggest that? The whole point of a tutorial is to cut out all the trial runs and errors so the audience can get it right the first time. Your post baffles me.

  2. I dunno, that's how I learned. In my opinion, talent is not talent unless it is discovered. An example would be like a photoshop tutorial. If you use a photoshop tutorial that teaches you to use blending modes to change your skin tone, most people will use that tutorial to change their skin tone. That's not gaining a skill, that's memorizing how to change your skin tone in photoshop. But if you use the skin tone tutorial to make a fire truck purple, that's learning a new skill.

So back to what I said. If you watch a "how to make a water bottle bong" video, and a "how to make a homemade percolator" video, you will have the foundation you need to actually LEARN how to make more sophisticated homemade bongs. That's why I said don't make a tutorial.

  3. With your logic those tutorials shouldn't exist either..

  4. No. Because my logic relies on the fact that those tutorials already do exist. I learned everything I know from watching two or three videos when I was in middle school. It really isn't hard if you know how a bong works and you have some got glue laying around.

Don't listen to this guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about.

    Edit: "Talking to the op."

  6. How is it exactly that you think he learned how to make this bong? Do you think there was a tutorial, or do you think he combined building techniques from different videos and put them together? Does he not know what he's talking about?

  7. So just like the other people that made those tutorials, he can make one to help people out..

  8. So you use tutorials to build knowledge off of huh? Maybe I want to build my knowledge off a more advance tutorial. You say there shouldn't be a tutorial to inspire other ideas, yet a tutorial is exactly what helped you build your bongs all the time ago.

In my opinion, your logic is flawed.

Your using the same technique to change the fire truck which you wouldn't know how to do without the tutorial. It's not learning a new skill when you change the tone of a fire truck, it's just applying a skill in a creative way which also a skill in itself. Tutorials like these are what help advance techniques and make new ones. Think of it like climbing a set of stairs with endless paths while you build them and the building supplies are knowledge like tutorials.

  9. I'm confused as to how or why I'm saying this, but..... Bravo, sir. My stoned stubborn force field has been talked through and taken down by you. Bravo, indeed. (not being sarcastic either, even though it might sound like it.)

  10. Damn that dude ^ is smart, lol.
i have finally acquired a Sobe bottle and I am not smoking for a couple weeks so hopefully i can make a tutorial sometime soon.

  11. cancer yo, thats what this is. its all about that glass on glass on glass

  12. Ive only seen one or two homeade bongs that topped this..

  13. I mean ya its some good work, and it looks killer, literally and by how it works it bubbles like krazy

  14. I stopped reading after noticing his first word is a grammatical error. lol.

:D I'm just bustin' balls. He/she does seem to be above average intelligence.

Nice bong though, must have taken a lot of weed to come up with that one. :smoking:

  15. Let's see your glass piece with more diffusion than this.
It's not more harmful to my health than any glass piece i've ever used.

  16. your not gonna know when its hurting you. smoke is hot regardless of how diffused it gets, so it warms the plastic up and releases fumes off the plastic.

it may not be a substantial amount, but if thats your daily driver, or a group sesh driver, i would think about looking into buying a glass on glass stemless bong with a gridded perc.

gridded perc stack just like that. any diffused piece of glass with tons of holes will stack like your piece, you just have to find it.

Unless you're smoke is 350+ degrees Fahrenheit you're good

  18. ^^^^ This

Kief there is no way you could find a glass bubble stacker like this for under $250. Even if it was used.
Quite frankly, I am a broke high school student that is dependent on my parents.

  19. when you put it into those terms, of course dude.

but glass bongs do stack like that, they exist. ive watched people hitting them.

  20. I have a $600 SYN double shower head bong with a lot more diffusion. I'll get a video up soon.
