So i made a homemade bong from a gatorade bottle and some other one, it has an ash catcher and a tree perc, but I was just wondering if I could attach an ice chamber to the side of it? I'm only asking because I dont know if this will affect its performance since the smoke is already being drawn up into the tree perc from the first chamber into the second, would a secondary chamber coming off the first chamber affect the draw or just performance of my peice? The smoke from the first chamber would be drawn through both the perc and this chamber and then meet again in the second chamber. I have a picture i drew on paint to help explain it, sorry its so horrid lol i did it quick. The blue lines are supposed to represent the smoke path and the green is water lol yes i know the water should be blue but still lol.
It won't really serve any purpose. Bongs have the ice catcher on top for a reason, it is supposed to be the last method of cooling before the smoke enters your lungs. This drawing looks like only a small portion of smoke would go through the ice chamber, but then end up with the hot smoke again.
no. the smoke will choose one of 2 paths, which will either be the perc or the ice chamber. it won't do both.
