:d Hey GC i'm new here, but i've been lurking the forums for a while (weird, huh? oh yeah..you know what i mean) but anyways, i've been smoking for about 8 months almost every morning before school. I enjoy being high, and i will smoke my whole life. Anyways i've made so many pieces, like a new piece every week. Due to troubles i can't purchase glass, i still live with my rents. But this is a nice peices it's very smooth, i do need to clean the bowl screen though it's clogged. But, don't be fooled this peace is amazing, get's me high after 1 bowl of MIDs. And i'm not much of a lightweight anymore, so idk. But this IS my first actual glass peice, well i guess it's not considered glass, but the chamber is glass, but the bowl is metal so i don't know. I'm thinking about adding a ashcatcher to the bowl, but i don't know, what are you guy's opinions on adding that? Should I? Anyways onto the pics. Something i'm excited about is its starting to get that yellow tint to the glass ;D 'stay high
looks pretty neat, you should post up a pic or vid of a milkshot. i too have a homemade steamroller, but its made out of pill bottles. id like a nice legit one, or even a DIY one as long as its glass, did you just use a test tube for the chamber?
Yeah the chambers just a small test tube. I just broke it so it was open on both ends and smoothed it a little bit then added clay so i could fit a bowl piece on it. But yeah i think i'll do a milkshot soon. Thanks for the comment :] 'peace
My brother made one last week that uses one of those attachments with a rubber grommet you stick in the top of the bong that has the hoses come out of either side. Not sure what those are really called, but we called it "Pippy-Bongstocking." Anywho: standard glass-on-glass bowl in one hole, other hole is the choke and you're good to go.
I was thinkin taking the bowl peice off and get a small bottle, and a tube. put the tube half way or somewhere on the bottle, and taking the bowl peice and shuv it in the top of the small bottle. but im kind of high right now so this probably doesnt make much sense..
Well I'm really baked and pretty damn drunk right now as well, but apparently, you do make sense. You do mean a water filtration ashcather, right? Or do you mean just a literal ash "catcher"?( As in, just an empty bottle to keep the ash from making it's way through the tube?
is the bowl of the steamroller made from copper? if so, I wouldn't smoke from it, its not very healthy
na dude it's not copper it's some kind of metal i don't know exactly. but the screen in it is metal too, so i think it's all good
What I mean is how do you expect it to bubble? If you just put a tube into the bottle, and fill water above the tube, you're just gonna have yourself a straw. A resinous straw. You'll need some form of drop stem, or some other structure to pull the smoke into the water.
What do you mean, the bowl peice would be on the top of this bottle, and the straw/tubing would be halfway down the side of the bottle, and it'd be barely submerged in water, while a tube would be coming from the bowl piece will be all the way under the water, right?
