So I sold my glass bubbler last week and I got sick of smoking joints, so I decided to spend an hour or two on making a bong out of a gatorade bottle. Drove out to home depot, bought some metal fitting as a bowl, found a plastic tube that i used for measuring PH for my old fish tank as a stem. Used a knife, cut some areas of the stem and on the bottle, fit it together with some tape, and there we go. After the first bowl I noticed the hole was a little to big on the bowl and I was able to suck ash through, so I stole some of my girlfriends bobbypins to block the hole up a little more. It hits super nice and I was high after smoking two bowls with my girlfriend. FYI I'm not really worried about the plastic since i'm not smoking from this much, I made it just for a one day smoke. Oh and enjoy the stem that's in the bowl: I don't discriminate.
when i smoked from something similar like that, i used to put marbles in it for some diffusion, works prety good compared to the massive amount of chugging
You know what might be sick if you could find something lighter than marbles that could move around a little bit when you inhaled.
I would just carry a cheap stem with me to pop it into plastic bottles. If you practice with a lighter you can melt perfect holes into a bottle in seconds and if you have a stem in hand you can pop it through so it makes a perfect seal. Just make sure the bottle is pretty empty hold it sideways cap off it helps being if there is no wind. Now just hold the lighter under it first start out like a foot away then slowly get closer you want the hole to be a bit smaller then your stem once you have the hole (takes about 30 sec's) drop the lighter, grab the stem and pop it in while its still hot it makes all the difference. I would make these and leave/stash them in smoke spots, parks etc. they only cost a dollar or 2 and it beats get'n a ticket or have'n your car smell like bong water.
My friend is bringing over about a gram in a few hours so I just threw together a Gatorade bottle grav bong.
