This year I've not only become a frequent stoner, but also really into making bongs. I'd try and come up with ideas, make them, and show them off to friends to gain reactions and feedback.

I thought I'd share some knowledge about the best homemade bong I've made. This is a homemade bong I'd like more people to use than using a boring plastic bottle with a pen tube and tin foil. This is also for those who can't afford proper glass bongs (Don't worry, I have a stemless glass bong with a honey comb percolator, Matrix percolator, tree percolator, and ice catcher for those who are thinking "wHy dOn'T u jUsT bUy a NoRmaL bOnG? Head asses). Any feedback is appreciated.

Some images attached below to help you.

    Materials:
800ml Plastic bottle - First Chamber
-Brand - Simply squeezed (New Zealand Juice brand)
-You can use a plastic bottle similar to this by finding a bottle which replicates a straight tube bong.

    Garden Hose - Down stem
    -Green 1/2'' Standard
-You wanna cut 2 pieces. One for the first chamber (To connect the second chamber), and the other for the second chamber (Downstem for the glass bowl).

350ml Plastic bottle - Second chamber
-Same brand, exactly the same bottle shape but smaller.
-Keep the lid for this one.

    Glass Bowl Piece
-Mine is a 18mm bought from Wish for around $4NZD but you can use any.

    Step 1: Burn a hole
This is for the carb on the first chamber. You want it in a comfortable position for your thumb. Not too low because you don't want any leaking when toking so I suggest somewhere near the top of the bottle. As long as you feel comfortable in a spot to burn it.

    Step 2: Burn another hole
-This one will be for the down stem that connects to the second chamber. You'll need to put both the bottles side by side and mark a spot on both bottles where the garden will enter in order to connect the bottles. Make sure they are standing side by side so they're both leveled. You don't want it to be unleveled otherwise you can't stand your bong up when it's finished. Be cautious about this. You want the hole to be small enough for it to be air tight.

Step 3: Enter the garden hose into the first chamber
-When you enter the garden hose, it's important that the hole NEEDS to be small enough for you to struggle to get the hose in. If you fit the hose in really easily, it won't be as air tight. You need to experience difficulty when trying to install the garden hose down stem. I used a heated scissors for this to carve a small hole and tried fitting the garden hose in by squeezing the hose a bit. If the hole was too small, I'd heat the scissors up again and partially spread the circumference of the hole. Partially.
-To carve a hole, just heat up the tip of the scissors and then slowly push the tip into the bottle, and twist it like a screw driver. Slowly push the scissors in while twisting in order to make the hole bigger for adjustments.

Step 4: Burn a hole in the lid of the second chamber plastic bottle
-Heated scissors returns for this job. You wanna carve a hole into the lid and again, STRUGGLE to fit in the garden hose in. If you struggle to fit the hose in, it means air tightness will be tighter than your gf. You want the garden hose cut long enough to be a little bit off the bottom. Not touching the bottom.

Step 5: Fit your glass bowl on the hose
-My first prototype for this double chamber bong, I didn't have a glass bowl. I used a socket nut, a small socket nut to fit into the garden hose which is also acceptable. Some other alternatives could be tin foil folded twice with one hole in the middle, and try and fit it in the garden hose.

Step 6: Take a toke, get high, and think if this bong really works for you or not
-Very important step. Very very important step.

This is honestly the first time I've made such a thread. Still new to these forums. Hope to see some feedback and reactions from you guys and hopefully helped some people out. Feel free to ask any questions and i'll try my best to help you out.

Here's a video to prove it works

    Don't worry I didn't burn my hat.

Good luck on your quest on making this double chamber!

    Cheers

  4. This is weak ass shit. Years and years ago when my buddy and I were in 10th grade we used to make so many DIY rigs. We used everything from the miniature 80z water bottles to two liter bottles and gallons Gatorade jugs. Made ice chambers and everything for them. This looks cheesy as hell

Nobody here is toxic we're just all adults who use glass/other real rigs.

You can literally buy glass bongs for less then $10/£10 so there's no reason to smoke via plastic bottles dude :confused_2: you can even pick up glass pipes for $5/£5 or less
