Hey, guys.. so I'm trying to make a new homemade bong, cause my old one is getting..well..old. It was a typical water bottle bong with a sink piece for the bowl, and it had a carb. Anyway, my new bong i am planning to make is going to have a perc, and a slider. The base bottle will be a POM juice bottle, and I'm going to take a bic pen and put it through the cap, and put a spice jar with holes in it over that, and seal it all up with a glue gun and electrical tape. Then, i am going to cut the bottom off another water bottle, and put it on top of the POM bottle, and seal that with a glue gun and electrical tape. Then, for the bowl i am going to use a socket wrench piece, and wrap electrical tape around the narrow part so it wont be too hot to hold. Then, i will attach a bic pen to that. For the downstem, i plan on using a hollowed out highlighter. I've made basic blueprints too.. What do you guys think? will it work?
Maybe looks like it should and dont forget to put a screen in the socket because your smoke will fall right through i made one similar before it worked great but post a pic when your done with it.
Electrical tape starts to melt at 176 degrees ferenhiet so I think you might be inhaling fumes using that bowl with tape so close to where you Put the fire

i dont think it would melt it unless he put direct flame to it, but if he packs one hit for himself at a time it wouldn't get too hot
Instead of using electrical tape use SuGru (link below) I have it on mine and I love it! The orange stuff is the SuGru https://sugru.com/buy?gclid=CNqBreiUk6gCFcJx5Qod7k-wDg It works like a charm, is airtight, wont melt on ya, and you will never need to replace it
