Before i start to write anything i just want to know if anyone has ever made an amazing,exotic homemade perc bong Or Pipe,bowl etc. I have about 3 Glass Bongs and two bubblers im satisfied with all my toking tools, but i always wanted to make an ultimate homemade bong with a fuck load of percs, does anyone have any ideas with pictures or videos i already have something in mind but if anyone has any great ideas or has seen great tutorials or wants to make one for me ide really appreciate it. If so post pictures/videos etc
A "fuckload of percs" will give you really bad drag. Just stick with your glass. If you insist on making a homemade, make something simple and not too complex.
hehe, two or single percs arent to bad ^_^ and yeah im not looking for a homemade to replace any of mine i just always wanted to try to make a great one
This is one I made a while ago. Each Percolator chamber unscrews from the top and on the very top there is a ice catcher. I also attached a inline ash catcher to the main chamber through a plastic tube. It wasn't that hard to make but just remember to thoroughly plan out how you're going to make it.
Hahahhaa well it DID hit ridiculously well. I say "did" because I used it once, got incredibly sketched out and ended up shattering it and throwing it away. Alright I'll give you a run down of how I made it and what I used. The bowl is clay with a wood "shell" to attach it to the stainless steel pipe that runs into the inline ash catcher (the brown vanilla extract bottle rubber banded to the side). Notice that the whole inline ash catcher is made out of materials that are safe to heat up. Make sure the smoke is cooled before it hits any plastic. From the ash catcher it goes to a diffused stainless steel down stem (via some plastic surgical tubing) which goes into a large bottle (a martinellis bottle with a hole drilled in it). From the main chamber it goes up into the first perc chamber. The perc itself is made out of a plastic test tube with holes drilled in top where bendy straws are stuck. The perc CHAMBER is made from a glass spice jar with the lid of the martinellis bottle glued onto the bottom. This allowed me to unscrew the perc chamber from the main chamber for cleaning and for filling it with water. The second perc chamber is exactly the same as the first (except the lid glued on the bottom is from the first perc chamber). The ice catcher is just a plain ol' jar with several small holes drilled in the bottom. To make this bong you'd have to drill a fair amount of glass so I advise you invest in a few glass drill bits (if you have a drill press or drill) and remember that when drilling glass you must keep spray it with water to keep it cool so it will not crack. I think you might have trouble finding some stainless steel tubing but apart from that I think you can find everything else I used. To cut the stainless steel and to cut the slits in it I used a metal grinder. The glue I used (when I needed glue) was water proof epoxy that cures in five minutes.
