Hey guys I made this on my day off from school. I know it's plastic, but the bowls not so I don't see a problem. I'm not sure if it's called a ashcatcher but both bottles do bubble so its a beast. The bowl is big enough to fill the bottle up with smoke once then it's basically ashes. I packed it 3 times, and got ripped like a mother fucker. This is my favorite piece i've made so far, i love how both bottles bubble, it makes me happy. anyways I only have one picture, I had a milkshot but deleted it accidentally. Anyways let me know what you think.. edit: oh yeah I know theres to much water in the chamber I just threw some water in there quickly to take a picture..
Plastic downstems are no good man that smoke is still really hot until its passes through water. You want safe material only for the downstem and bowl. Cool piece though just get some safer materials.
Alright, thanks for the info on the downstem. I think i'm going to find a small metal tube I have one actually that'll fit perfect I believe. Also the big bottle has clay around the hole to make it airtight, the ashcatcher part I just burned a hole at a angle and shoved the tube in. The tube is metal btw. I just need a new downstem. thanks for the post guys! peace
Sure thing man. people give me more tips please bout to go rip it once I think. Also guys does anyone have any tips on how to make this MORE airtight? It's not completely as airtight as i'd like it to be.
it's homemade so it won't be completely airtight(at least not for me everytime I try). What's the link for that pic?

Nice I like that setup with the second chamber. I would love to see both of them bubbling when I toke... Good job, very creative! Although I'm wondering if there's an actual advantage to the "ash catcher"? What did you use for the bowl?
Thanks for the reply, Ashcatcher- Usually attached to the downstem or diffuser. This acts as another water filtration and basically catches the ash that pulls through. Keeps the bong clean and cools the smoke down. Also yeah a main reason I made the two chambers, is because it sounds amazing I have no problem with choking, but it does make the hit smooth, I can't really feel the smoke in all honesty. But yeah it sounds really great, I wish I had a video, but I can't exactly make one, I mean I can, but not right now. I'm not sure what the bowl piece is, but it's kind of like a socket, but it gets smaller at the bottom, and forms into a really small round circle idk if that explains it but yeah. Also have a metal screen in it. Looking to replace the downstem with a metal tube instead of plastic. Hope I answered all your questions, and thanks again for the reply mate. peace
