I've been collecting random shit to make homemade for a bit & I plan on starting on it tonight, or maybe tomorrow when I get off work. I can't seem to find anything good to use as a slider. Any suggestions on what I could use? I don't feel like buying one haha.
I use a socket for my homemade bong. If you dont have one lying around you could pick one up at home depot for a couple bucks. I use my homemade bong a lot and the socket works pretty well.
For the bowl, a socket will work but you might wanna use a screen. For the downstem a pen tube will work, but something metal would be better
yeah before i got my illadelph, i would just use a socket for the bowl and a metal slurpee straw that i drilled little holes in to make a diffuser. it worked really well actually
I think I'm going to walk up to the hardware store tomorrow and just steal a bunch of shit. I'll post pics & a milkshot vid when I finish it. I don't want to use a pen tube for the downpiece though. Simply because of health reasons, I want as much glass/metal on it as possible.I found a good mouthpiece, base, and bowl today. So I just need a good tube piece, and a good down piece.
i have a downstem/slide that i use a quick bong [poke hole in bottle] or my bubbler that has premade holes to put everything in. for the downstem i used this very hard very thick plastic from these expensive mechanical pencils.. the slide is a small metal tupe that fits loosley in it and i use rubber band to be a seal. The bowl itself is a small socket. its a pinch bowl but i can still get a good 5 hits out of it, then i just re-up it. It does me well.. tell me how yours goes and what u use!.
