WORD. take it from someone who was a band geek in high school. mouth pieces are hella sturdy though if you can get your hands on one. and thanks for the tips man, youtube is my friend i guess when it comes to homemade bongs, im more of a visual kinda guy. never really made any type of contraptions on my own so these will definitely be new territory for me... looking forward to the challenge
It helps to have possessed a trumpet mouth piece prior to needing it for a bowl, as, like KB said they are quite the expensive piece of metal to have in the first place purchased. Plus one to KB.
How does a gravity bong not have anything to do with gravity? There is a hole at the bottom and gravity pulls the water down and out..
That's not a gravity bong. You're describing a waterfall bong. You take any large bottle(2 liters soda best imo). You unscrew the cap and attach a bowl on top of it. Punch a hole very close to the bottom. Pack your bowl then fill up the bottle with water while covering the hole with your finger. When the bottle's full, screw on the cap/bowl, light your lighter over it, and uncover the hole so the water starts falling out. As the "waterfalls" it creates a suction which pulls smoke down and into the bottle. If you do it right, you should have a THICK bottle of greenish looking smoke. Normally I cover the holes again and stare at it for a minute or two to let the smoke cool. Then clear it like a bong. A gravity bong is kind of the same. You take the 2l bottle, attach a bowl to the cap, but instead of punching a hole near the bottom, you completely cut off the bottom. Fill a bucket of water and pack your bowl. With the cap off, you push the bottle all the way in the bucket until just the top part is sticking out. Screw on your cap, light your lighter, and slowly pull the bottle up out of the water slowly. This will create a suction at the top while the water in the bottle is trying to even itself out with the water in the bucket. The bottle should never fully come out of the water. If you do it right, you should have a thick bottle of greenish looking smoke. Then you unscrew the cap, put your mouth on the top, and suck in while you push the bottle back down in the water. As you push down the water pushes the smoke up forcing it out of the opening and into your lungs. These are two of the most effecient ways to smoke, because The bowl burns completely to ash and ALL of the smoke is trapped in the bottle.
Anyone else notice they never clear the bong? Like, ever? It's always filled with the creamiest looking smoke AND THEY NEVER CLEAR IT! In one of the episodes you can kinda see a little hole in the bottle that one can only assume is a rush.
